NSW/ACT: Strong Wind Warning for NSW coastal waters south of Seal Rocks for Saturday.

VIC: Strong wind warning for Victorian waters between SA-VIC Border and 60nm east of Gabo Island.

Forecasts for Friday:

QLD: Scattered showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern areas of the state this afternoon, dry over the remainder. A little patchy rain developing in far west. Moderate to fresh N/NW winds about the coast generally. Moderate SW/SE winds over the interior.

NSW/ACT: Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the far north coast. Cloud increasing over the inland, but remaining mostly fine until isolated showers develop late in the day, most likely about the northern and far southern inland and the western slopes of the ranges. Moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds and coastal seabreezes.

VIC: Isolated showers over the southwest and near the coast at first then rain areas developing from the west during the day to affect southern and mountain areas. Isolated showers developing over the north. Local thunderstorms and hail developing at night in the southwest. Cool to mild with freshening northwesterly winds turning westerly. Maximum Fire Danger: High in the northwest.
