Bureau of Meteorology Flood Watch For people in the Tweed to Bellinger River Valleys. A trough over southeastern Queensland is expected to deepen and form a low in the vicinity of Cape Byron early Friday. Heavy rain is expected overnight the Northern Rivers which is likely to produce local flash flooding in the district and possibly some main river flooding in the following valleys :
