Bureau of Meteorology Warning Preliminary minor flood warning for the Bellinger River at Thora. Flood Warning Number: 1 An average of 50 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 24 hours to 3 am today [5/09/2008] with a maximum of 80 millimetres recorded at Dorrigo. Further rain is forecast for the next 12 hours. This rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Thora later this morning. At this stage it is not possible to predict the flood peak because of uncertainty over how much more rain will fall.
