Bureau of Meteorology Warning An average of 100 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 24 hours to 9 am today 05/09/08. This rain is expected to cause minor flooding along the Orara River at Glenreagh this afternoon. Further moderate rain is forecast for today. At this stage it is not possible to predict the flood peak because of uncertainty over how much more rain will fall. Predicted River Heights/Flows: For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES on 132 500. |
