Bureau of Meteorology Flood Watch For people in the Hastings to Lower Hunter Valleys A low is forming off the far north coast of NSW. It should move southwards to be located east of Port Macquarie by evening. Moderate to heavy rainfalls are expected today before this system contracts south. The above valleys have already experienced good rain over the past 24 hours and minor flooding is possible along the following rivers: 1. Hastings River - Kindee Bridge, main river flooding is not expected at Wauchope and downstream at this stage For emergency help in floods and storms, ring the SES on 132 500. |
