Bureau of Meteorology Warning

An average of 130 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 36 hours to 6:00am today [06/09/08].

This rain is expected to cause moderate flooding in the Paterson River at Gostwyck Bridge, and moderate flooding in the Williams River at Dungog and Mill Dam Falls today [06/09/08]. Further rainfall is possible over the next 6 - 12 hours which could produce some further river rises.

Predicted River Heights/Flows:

Gostwyck Bridge - Peak near Moderate Flood Level (10.7 metres) around 9:00 am

Dungog - Reach Moderate Flood Level (7.6 metres) around 9:00 am

Mill Dam falls - Exceed Minor Flood Level (6.1 metres) around 9:00 am. Reach Moderate Flood Level (7.6 metres) around 2:00 pm
