SA Severe Weather Warning: Flash Flooding

For people in parts of the
Yorke Peninsula district.

Issued at 5:38 am Sunday, 7 March 2010.

Very heavy rain associated with showers and thunderstorms in the warning area during the next several hours may lead to flash flooding. Locations which may be affected include Maitland and Kadina.

Kadina has recorded 57.8 mm since 9am yesterday and has received 27.8 mm since 4:30 am today.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water;
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains;
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
