For people in the Riverland, Murraylands and parts of the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula and Mid North districts.

Issued at 3:53 pm Sunday, 7 March 2010.

Heavy showers and thunderstorms are occurring across the central parts of South Australia. These showers and thunderstorms are likely to produce very heavy rainfall and flash flooding. Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Clare, Maitland and Murray Bridge.

Some flash flooding has occurred in Wallaroo where 20mm was reported in half an hour.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
