Strong northwest to southwest winds with scattered showers and possible small hail are affecting much of the southern part of the State. These winds may become locally severe in squally showers, averaging 50-65 km/h with gusts exceeding 90 km/h, over the warning area this afternoon.
Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Naracoorte and Robe.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
