For people in the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East, Northeast Pastoral and parts of the West Coast and Northwest Pastoral districts.

A deep low over northern Eyre Peninsula is moving south and intensifying. The low centre is expected to be near Kangaroo Island early Saturday and will then move southeast towards Bass Strait.
Rain and thunderstorms are occurring east of the low with heavy falls and flash flooding. Damaging wind gusts and large hailstones are also possible with thunderstorms.
Widespread damaging winds averaging 50-65 km/h are forecast to develop over Eyre Peninsula tonight and spread to central parts early Saturday and eastern districts late morning or afternoon. Winds may be locally destructive, averaging 60-75 km/h with gusts of around 120 km/h on the western flank of the low.
Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Maitland, Renmark and Mount Gambier.
There have been a number of reports of heavy rain and flash flooding today; including Leigh Creek where 43 mm fell in under an hour, the Adelaide Hills and Wallaroo. Marble sized hail was reported at Port Augusta.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines;
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water;
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains;
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
