Watch and Act - Bills Crossing Crowdy (Mid-Coast LGA)

A bush fire is burning in the Crowdy Bay National Park area. The fire is currently 1,750 hectares in size and is under control.

Current Situation

The fire has broken containment lines on the northern side of the fire.

The fire is moving east towards Bakers Road.

Smoke may be visible in the Crowdy Bay area. There is currently no threat to homes.


If you are in the area of Crowdy Bay monitor conditions.

Check and follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. Leaving early is your safest option.
