Severe thunderstorm risk continues in the southeast.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Ipswich, Kingaroy, Gatton, Jimboomba, Mount Tamborine and Nanango.

Goolman Alert recorded 71mm in 30 minutes 20:45

Tenthill Alert recorded 27 mm in 15 minutes to 18:23

Grandchester Alert recorded 40 mm in 30 minutes to 19:15

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should:
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded, forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
