For people in parts of Central Highlands and Coalfields,
Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego and Darling
Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts.

Slow moving severe thunderstorms continue to move east across
southeastern Queensland this afternoon.
Weather Situation: Slow moving thunderstorms in a moisture rich
environment are triggering on and east of a trough through inland
Queensland this afternoon.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, large
hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in
the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may
be affected include Goondiwindi, Miles, Gayndah, Mundubbera,
Eidsvold and Mungindi.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Central West
district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
Duaringa west of Rockhampton recorded 68mm of rain in one hour to
1:45pm.
Hawkwood Range west of Gayndah recorded 52mm in the one hour to
2:30pm.
Cooranga recorded 87mm in one hour to 4:15pm
Large hail 3 to 4cm in size was reported at Muckadilla.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people
should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Never drive, walk or ride through flood waters. If it's flooded,
forget it.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
