Issued at 3:02 pm Thursday, 3 March 2022.

Severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall developing over the southeastern parts of the state.

Weather Situation: A moist and unstable airmass is in place over the eastern Darling Downs, with even stronger instability developing over the northern Wide Bay and Burnett and southern Capricornia districts to the north of a surface trough around the Hervey Bay area. Locations which may be affected include Warwick, Toowoomba, Dalby, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Kingaroy, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Stanthorpe, Calliope, Gin Gin and Nanango.
