Weather Situation: A low pressure trough is moving into eastern districts this evening, with associated thunderstorm activity and gusty winds.

Severe thunderstorms may produce damaging wind gusts of 90 to 100 km/h in the warning area over the next several hours. Conditions will ease this evening in western parts of the warning area as the low pressure trough moves east. Locations which may be affected include Renmark, Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Lameroo, Bordertown, Waikerie, Karoonda, Keith and Burra.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges and Yorke Peninsula districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

A wind gust of 93 km/h was recorded at Murray Bridge at around 6 pm.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
