Weather Situation:

Localised damaging winds, averaging 60-70 km/h with isolated peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h, are forecast in the warning area during the next several hours. Winds are expected to ease early afternoon.

Locations which may be affected include the far east of Kangaroo Island, Cape Jervis, Victor Harbour and Strathalbyn.

A wind gust of 106 km/h was recorded at Cape Willoughby at 9:30 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.

The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 pm ACST Saturday.
