Gusty showers and thunderstorms with a front over southern SA this
morning.
Gusts in excess of 90 km/h are possible across the warning area,
mostly associated with passing showers and thunderstorms associated
with the passage of a front. Showers and thunderstorms may also
produce short bursts of heavy rainfall.
Locations which may be affected include Port Pirie, Clare,
Jamestown, Burra, Peterborough and Melrose.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Adelaide
Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Murraylands,
Upper South East and Lower South East districts and the warning for
these districts is CANCELLED.
A gust of 96km/h recorded at Neptune Island at 345am this morning,
a 91km/h gust was recorded at Cape Jaffa at 4:22am and an 87 km/h
gust was recorded at 04:27am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are
severe.
