Flood Watch Number: 1
Isolated minor flooding is possible from overnight Friday into
Saturday.
A slow moving cold front will bring rain to most of Tasmania
during Friday.
Parts of the flood watch catchments are wet. River levels are also
elevated at some locations from recent rainfall.
Widespread 10-30 mm is expected during Friday, with isolated
higher totals possible.
Rivers are expected to be responsive to additional rainfall.
Isolated minor flooding may develop from overnight Friday into
Saturday.
Catchment specific warnings will be issued if and when
required.
Catchments likely to be affected include:
North Esk River
South Esk River
Meander River
Macquarie River
