This Watch and Act message is being issued for Frankston,
Frankston North, Seaford, Seaford South.
There is a grassfire at Hartnett Dr, Seaford that is under
control.
Firefighters have been able to slow the spread of the fire for
now, but this can change at any time and the situation is still
dangerous. You must monitor conditions and be ready to act.
This message is for you if you are located on Hartland
drive.
If you live directly next to grassland, quickly move two or more
streets away from the fire. Grassfires are unlikely to spread past
the first row of houses.
What you should do:
If you live right next to grassland, quickly move two streets
away:
When you leave remember to take your pets, medications, mobile
phone and charger.
If you are away from home, do not return.
Travel to the home of family or friends that are away from the
warning area.
If you live two or more streets away from the grassland you should
shelter indoors:
Bring your pets indoors.
Close all exterior doors, windows and vents.
Turn off cooling systems.
Monitor conditions.
Impacts in your area:
The following road is closed: Hartland drive.
Grassfires can generate extreme heat. Staying near shelter is the
safest option.

call 13 11 70 for road
closures.
