This Watch & Act message is for Avondale Heights, Keilor East, Airport West, Essendon West, Niddrie.

There is a factory fire in THOR Court KEILOR EAST.
This warning replaces the Advice message issued at 4.57 am.
Emergency Services who are at the fire have reported that the smoke is affecting nearby houses and impacting the freeway

Anyone located in the Keilor East area should take shelter indoors. Close all exterior doors, windows and vents and ensure that heating and cooling systems are turned off.
What you should do:

Thor Court is currently closed and people are advised to avoid the area.
Close all windows and doors and turn off your heating and cooling systems.
If you are currently driving you should close the windows in your vehicle and turn off the air conditioning.

Impacts in your area:

The following roads are closed: THOR COURT.
Emergency Services will remain in the area.
Check the VicRoads website ( for road closures.
Traffic in the area will be affected.
