Weather Situation: A vigourous northwesterly airflow will persist over Victoria.
Winds have eased below warning threshold across the State, however NORTH TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of 100 km/h are forecast to develop across the warning area during the early evening.

Locations which may be affected include Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller.
Strongest wind gusts Monday to 9am include:
111km/h at Falls Creek at 12.41am
100km/h at Mt Buller at 1.39am

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony;
* Keep clear of fallen power lines;
