Register the program

In order to match your DesktopALERT install with your EWN membership there is a one-off registration process. Please enter your email address below and click submit.

This email address must match the one you previously used to register with EWN - if you have changed emails since you registered with EWN email support with your old and new emails and we can update this.

Updating the Program

If you are updating from any of the 3.x versions of DesktopALERT to V3.06 you do not need to uninstall the old copy. Just download the installer again and install/replace over the top of the previous one.

V3.03 fixes a problem that prevented Windows from shutting down or logging off without first closing DesktopALERT.

V3.05 replaced a link to the EWN login tab.

V3.06 now updates the national warning summary page every 15 minutes.

Known Issues

Some corporate (and home such as Norton) firewalls may prevent the application communicating with our servers. This application must be able to access http://www.ewn.com.au and http://www.ewnalert.com websites.
