Climate Risk and Safety (CRS) Project Features

EWN certifies users of the EWN CRS as CRS compliant, meaning they have taken positive action in climate change adaptation and have helped protect their people, community and business operations from severe weather, fire and other emergency events.

Using the system is simple. First of all we will send you a login and password. After logging in you are in control of a system that will help protect the lives of those in your business and its operations. The following details some basic activities.

Login
You can login to the system from any internet access.

2.

Register Locations
Once logged in you can register as many locations and add as many people to the system as you like. If you have a lot of people your can easily import lists. From here you can register alert managers at each location and/or register all your staff to the system.

Alert Types
At any time you can select or edit the types of alerts you and/or your alert team or staff receive.

4.

You are now CRS Compliant
Having completed these three simple steps you are now CRS compliant and can receive and manage alerts.

Monitor and Track Weather and Alerts
At any time you can login to monitor weather, locations and alerts in real time. The system maintains comprehensive records of all alerts.

6.

Locate and track Assets
From the mapping system you can locate and track people and assets from GPS enabled phones registered to the system.

7.

Manage and Prepare for emergencies
You can at anytime exploit the system's powerful communications suite. You can send notifications over multiple channels from the desktop to groups, individuals or locations. You can SMS, text to voice to mobile/landline, email and pager. You can also use the GIS to target these messages geographically.
