TIO Early Warning Terms and Conditions

TIO Weather Alerts is a free service providing warning of certain severe weather events (in the nature of storms, cyclones and tsunamis). It uses publicly available information to provide subscribers with alerts relevant to a chosen location. Obviously, weather is unpredictable in nature, and no such service can claim to be failsafe. This is also by nature only a general alert service, and cannot provide a level of information that will safeguard every interest of every user in all circumstances. Accordingly, if you subscribe to the service, you expressly agree that none of Territory Insurance Office, its related bodies corporate or Early Warning Network Pty Ltd (the provider of the service), or any of their respective officers, employees or agents will be responsible to you for any loss or damage suffered by you in connection with the service. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss or damage arising from any information provided by the service (including, but not limited to any severe weather event that was not warned by the service, or the provision of an alert that inaccurately warns of a weather event, including by warning of a weather event that fails to materialise). Depending on your circumstances, you may need to obtain your own specific and independent weather advice.

Registrations associated with email addresses that are invalid, contain typographical errors, become disabled over time, or bounce with "mailbox full" errors will result in your account being disabled without notice. This will also stop SMS and landline alerts. It is your responsibility to inform us of any email, mobile phone, landline or address changes. You may do this by logging into your account and making the changes, or emailing support.

By accepting these terms, you also agree to allow TIO to send you SMS and email messages related to TIO services, products and promotions.
