Report Severe Weather to EWN

Please report severe weather events to the Australian Early Warning Network. Reports of hail are very important and will be passed onto the Bureau of Meteorology - please measure the hail size if it is safe to do so.

Include this detail in your report:

• description of event
• location of event
• time and date of event
• hail sizes (most common size and largest stones found)
• if possible take photos and attach them to your email

Hail size diameters: pea = 0.5cm, marble = 1cm, $2 coin = 2cm, twenty cent coin = 3cm, golfball = 4.5cm, tennis ball = 6.5cm, cricket ball = 7cm
