Flood Watch Number: 3

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE FOR THE HUNTER AND PARTS OF THE MID NORTH COAST FROM OVERNIGHT THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY

A broad low pressure trough will deepen to a low pressure system over southern
Queensland or northern inland New South Wales. The low will traverse the
northeast quarter of the state, before entering the coastal waters of the
Hunter and the Mid North Coast. This system will generate widespread moderate

the Hunter and parts of the Mid North Coast.

Minor flooding may develop along the Orara, Manning and Gloucester, Bellinger,
Hastings, Paterson WIlliams and parts of the Hunter River from overnight
Thursday into Friday. Uncertainty remains in the location and timing of the
heaviest falls.

Catchments in the Flood Watch area are moderately wet.

the Bureau provides a flood warning service.
