- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station,
www.securent.nt.gov.au, and www.bom.gov.au.
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

Extreme Fire Danger in the following fire weather districts:
Darwin and Adelaide River, Gregory South East and Barkly North

For Sunday 20 August:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Darwin and Adelaide River and Barkly North

Weather Situation
Fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds have extended across central and northwestern parts of the Territory and combined with dry and mild conditions resulting in extreme fire danger during Saturday afternoon. These conditions will continue into the evening with similar conditions occurring Sunday, again resulting in extreme fire danger Sunday.
