Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

Catastrophic Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Barkly North

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Barkly South

Weather Situation

A dry, fresh and gusty surge of southeasterly winds will move across southern and central parts of the Territory during Friday. Winds will be strong at times over the Barkly fire weather district, which combined with high grass fuel loads in the area will result in extreme to catastrophic fire danger.
