- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station,
www.securent.nt.gov.au, and www.bom.gov.au.
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

For the rest of Saturday 9 September:

Extreme Fire Danger in the following fire weather districts:
Darwin and Adelaide River, Gregory South East and Barkly North

For Sunday 10 September:

Catastrophic Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Barkly North

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Darwin and Adelaide River and Gregory South East

Weather Situation
Dry, fresh and gusty southeasterly winds will continue across southern and central parts of the Territory on Saturday afternoon and into Sunday. Winds combined with high grass fuel loads in the Darwin, Barkly, and Gregory fire weather districts will result in elevated fire dangers.
