Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
Channel Country

Weather Situation
Freshening northwesterly winds combined with hot and dry conditions Friday are
expected to result in extreme fire danger over parts of the Channel Country
district. A sharp, strong and gusty cool southwesterly change is expected to
move in from the west during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms following
the change.
