likely overnight and early tomorrow morning.
Weather Situation: Areas of converging enhanced onshore winds over
the north tropical coast may redevelop today, most likely this
evening, bringing the risk of heavy rainfall.

about the coast and adjacent inland areas from about Townsville to
Yarrabah, becoming more likely this evening and overnight.
Six-hourly rainfall totals between 100 to 180 mm are likely, with
isolated falls in excess of 220 mm possible.
