An elevated slow moving thunderstorm cluster over northern South
Australia is producing heavy rainfall.
Weather Situation: An upper-level trough combines with rich
atmospheric moisture to produce elevated thunderstorms over the
north east of the state this evening and overnight.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may

hours. Locations which may be affected include Mungeranie on the
Birdsville Track and the Strzelecki Track south of Moomba.
