Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms continue across parts of northeastern South Australia.

Weather Situation: A trough and cold front move through the state today, generating thunderstorms. A very humid airmass ahead of these systems brings the risk of heavy rainfall with thunderstorms.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Arkaroola and the area east of Lake Frome.

Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Flinders and North West Pastoral districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.

41.8 mm has been recorded at Gammon Ranges (The Plateau) in the 1 hour to 4:25 pm.

48.8 mm has been recorded at Port Augusta in the 6 hours to 11:22 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
