Severe thunderstorms over central SA and the Yorke Peninsula.

Weather Situation: Fast moving storms forming along a slow moving trough over central South Australia may cause localised large hail and damaging wind gusts.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Port Pirie, Clare, Maitland, Kingscote, Hawker and Jamestown.

4cm hail was reported at Port Pirie.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
