Severe thunderstorms developing in the North East Pastoral district.

Weather Situation: Thunderstorms are strengthening in a moist unstale airmass on a trough moving through eastern SA ahead of the cold front crossing further south.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding, damaging winds and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Arkaroola, Olary and the area east of Lake Frome.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
