Damaging winds developing over the Eyre Peninsula and West Coast on Thursday.

Weather Situation: a strong cold front is currently moving through Western Australia and is expected to reach western parts of South Australia during Thursday.

DAMAGING NORTH TO NORTHWESTERLY WIND GUSTS reaching 90 km/h are possible during Thursday morning over the West Coast, extending to the Eyre Peninsula and North West Pastoral districts by the middle of the day. Winds are then expected to ease later in the afternoon, and should shift to a southwesterly following the passage of the front as it progresses to the east.

Locations which may be affected include Port Lincoln, Ceduna, Wudinna, Elliston, Cleve and Tumby Bay.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
