Damaging winds possible over parts of the state today.

A strong westerly winds following the passage of the front that moved through early this morning, before easing later in the afternoon.

For parts of the SOUTHEAST: DAMAGING WIND GUSTS with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h are possible today most likely in showers and thunderstorms.

For MOUNT LOFTY and FLINDERS RANGES: DAMAGING WINDS GUSTS in excess of 90 km/h are possible this morning, before easing during the late afternoon.

Winds are forecast to ease early this evening.

Locations which may be affected include Mount Gambier, Clare, Naracoorte, Keith, Bordertown and Jamestown.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
