A Bushfire Watch and Act is in place for people at Posion Creek Campsite, Seal Creek Campground and Jorndee Creek Campground and surrounding areas in CAPE ARID NATIONAL PARK in the SHIRE OF ESPERANCE.
WHAT TO DO

Poison Creek Road is under threat from an approaching bushfire. This is the sole access road for Seal Creek Campground, Jorndee Creek Campground and Poison Creek Campsite. If you are in these areas and your plan is to leave, leave now.

Take your emergency kit with you. It should include an AM/FM radio that runs off batteries, a first aid kit, a woollen blanket, phones, protective clothing, medication and irreplaceable valuables.

Decide where you will go and how you will get there. This could be with family or friends away from the fire.

The bushfire is moving in a north-easterly direction.

It is not contained or controlled.
