FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FLOOD WATCH AREA DURING WEDNESDAY AND INTO THURSDAY

Moderate to heavy rainfall was observed across parts of the flood watch area during Tuesday and has resulted in isolated river level rises and flooding.

No further significant rainfall is forecast for flood watch area over next few days.

Further river level rises, localised flooding, and overland inundation are possible in parts of the Flood Watch area, which may affect road access. Some communities may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.

Catchments likely to be affected include:
Avon River

Moore and Hill Rivers

Yarra Yarra Lakes District

Greenough River

No further flooding expected along the Murchison River.
